LES BRERS TO PERFORM TWO AREA SHOWS

THE WELLMONT THEATER in MONTCLAIR, NJ – OCTOBER 13
THE NYCB THEATRE AT WESTBURY – OCTOBER 16
 
 
New York, NY – Live Nation is pleased to announce two area shows for LES BRERS, a band celebrating The Allman Brothers Band’s music and legacy.  Les Brers features four members of The Allman Brothers Band along with four additional musicians with connections to the Allman Brothers Band.  Performances are at The Wellmont Theater in Montclair, NJ on Thursday, October 13 and at The NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Sunday, October 16th.  Both shows are at 8 p.m.  Tickets for The Wellmont show are $34.50, $49.50, and $69.50.  Tickets for the Westbury show are $39.50, $49.50, $59.50. $79.50 and $99.50.  Tickets for both shows go on sale this Friday, August 19 at 10 a.m. and will be available at www.ticketmaster.com and at the venue box offices.  For more information, visitwww.thewellmonttheater.com  or www.thetheatreatwestbury.com.
 
Les Brers features founding members of the Allman Brothers Band, drummers Butch Trucks and Jaimoe, along with longtime members of ABB, bassist Oteil Burbridge and percussionist Marc Quinones.  Additionally the band includes former ABB guitarist Jack Pearson; guitarist Pat Bergeson; frequent ABB guest keyboardist Bruce Katz who also performed with The Gregg Allman Band; and vocalist Lamar Williams, Jr. the son of the famed ABB bass player.
 
The band’s name is a nod to the instrumental “Les Brers in A Minor.”  Les Brers will perform an eclectic selection of music familiar to fans of The Allman Brothers Band, whose unique improvisational style, great songwriting and extensive touring made them one of the most acclaimed bands in music history.

  3. I saw them at the Peach as well the last 2 years And last night at the Brooklyn Bowl and they keep getting better Excellent musicians kicking ass Thought I was at the Beacon for a moment They are that good Go see them u won’t be disappointed Can’t wait to see them again on Sun
